La Jaguar Mark I è una vettura tre volumi britannica prodotta dalla Jaguar tra il 1955 e il 1959. Attualmente ci si riferisce a quei modelli come alle Jaguar 2.4 e 3.4. Il nome Mark I fu assegnato successivamente alla nascita della vettura quando venne commercializzata la Jaguar 2.4 litri Mark 2. La 2.4 fu la prima berlina piccola dopo la fine dei modelli 1.5 e 2.5 del 1949 ed ebbe un successo immediato superando nelle vendite le Jaguar più grandi e più costose. La 2.4 fu presentata il 28 Settembre 1955. La 3.4, presentata 17 mesi più tardi, negli Stati Uniti, il 26 Febbraio 1957, fu inizialmente progettata per il mercato americano e non fu subito disponibile in Gran Bretagna.

The Jaguar Mark 1 is a British saloon car produced by Jaguar between 1955 and 1959. It was referred to, in contemporary company documentation, as the Jaguar 2.4 litre and Jaguar 3.4 litre. Its name - Mark 1 - was subsequently given, following its October 1959 replacement by Jaguar's 2.4-litre Mark 2. The 2.4 litre was the company's first small saloon since the end of its 1.5 and 2.5 litre cars in 1949, and was an immediate success, easily outselling the larger much more expensive Jaguar saloons. The 2.4 litre saloon was announced on 28 September 1955. The 3.4 litre saloon, announced 17 months later in USA on 26 February 1957, was designed for the American market and was not at first available on the domestic market.
